This shot examplifies the advantages of the Long Shot (LS) for framing Action Sequences. We are framed tighter to the subject to tell who they are and some detail of their performance and costume, but wide enough to see what the character is attempting to jump over. The advantage here is that we have a lot of visual information relayed to the audience in the one shot.
